At Oasis Youth Services, our Social Enterprises are an essential part of our service with Oasis Shop providing valuable vocational training and employment pathways for young people as well as support to our community.
About the role
We are currently seeking a values-driven and proactive Retail Program Coordinator to operate the Oasis Shop and provide training and supervision to students and volunteers.
Reporting to the Team Leader, this is a permanent, part-time (25 hours per week) position based in Wyong, NSW. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Labour Market Assistance Industry Award.
You will successfully
Oversee all aspects of operating the shop, including ordering, pricing, display, marketing and sales.
Identify and partner with local businesses and suppliers.
Provide adequate supervision and training for participants,students and volunteers.
Work with the Training Team Leader for all aspects of the delivery of vocational and non-vocational training programs.
Develop & maintain strong internal and external relationships in order to facilitate new business opportunities.
Develop and implement a targeted marketing and advertising strategy to improve revenue generation.
Monitor risk to customers, staff and TSA in service delivery, provide responses to incidents and manage in accordance with TSA processes and escalate where required.
You will have
Qualifications in Retail or a related field OR demonstrated high level of industry knowledge and skills attained through previous appointments, service and/or study.
Experience in supervision and training.
A current NSW Working With Children Check.
A current NSW Driver's Licence.
A current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain one.
