Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, has an exciting internship opportunity for an ambitious college student to join our dynamic sales team in our Somerville, MA corporate office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to assist our sales team with their day-to-day operations by performing market research, networking with prospective clients, and sit in on face-to-face meetings with potential clients at local colleges, hospitals, manufacturing, and research and pharmaceutical facilities.

We will be supporting you with extensive training in your role and provide professional development opportunities as a successful Sales Intern and potential future leader for our company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to identify and qualify potential customers and target markets.
• Learn to utilize various forms of communication (e.g., cold calls, email and call campaigns, social media) to open “new doors.”
• Assist Management, Sales, and Marketing Representatives with assigned projects.
• Learn and utilize various software related prospecting tools.
• Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to help manage leads and sales activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a Junior or Senior currently enrolled in BS/BA program.
• Must be able to submit college transcript.
• Interested and eager to learn the environmental services field and have a desire to grow professionally all with a winning and enthusiastic attitude.
• Have the desire to learn and grow in the sales field.
• Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving history
