What You Will Do

This is a 2nd shift position

Lead both the NDT and Bench Inspection groups in accomplishing tasks set by Quality Management.  

Demonstrate and maintain effective leadership skills. Exhibits consistent skill and positive attitude towards their job while demonstrating the highest degree of quality and productivity.  

Lead others in resolving special cases and product issues such as inspection lots, help desk related issues, delivery ticket issues, etc. that inspectors and technicians can resolve for themselves.  

Acts as a focal point to quality management for training needs and concern areas.  

Keep Quality Management informed of personnel issues and work to resolve issues with personnel on the floor.  

Ensure that the quality group are performing quality work by writing up QN’s correctly, accepting material accurately, and performing work duties in a timely manner.  

Ensure that the quality group maintain productivity by keeping personnel on task and motivated.  

Exhibits consistent skill and positive attitude towards their job while demonstrating the highest degree of quality and productivity.  

Assist quality supervisor on projects and maintain administrative tools to support quality supervisor in running the department.  

Performs practical testing review with Senior Quality Specialist.  

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Visual Inspection Training 

Visual Inspection Standard training 

Visual Specification Interpretation training 

Solumina/QN Training 

Welding and Brazing Visual Inspection (TCHIN200005C)  

FOD training (annual requirement) 

SAP/Solumina training
