Senior Software Engineer

Location: United States - Remote

At GoDaddy, the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days), and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands

What you'll get to do…

• Architect and implement innovative solutions: Design, code, and debug complex software systems, constantly improving performance and functionality.

• Be a team player: Actively participate in discussions, brainstorm ideas, and propose solutions, shaping the direction of our shared services.

Your experience should include...

• 5+ years of software engineering experience and a proven track record of success.
• High-level programming experience with EcmaScript, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node, and experience with software development methodologies.
• Experience with CICD building pipelines, deploying, getting code into production, and debugging.
• Experience with GitHub actions and workflows.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise terms.
• Leadership and organizational skills with experience mentoring and guiding others.

Your experience may include…

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with Python or Java
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Artifactory, Jenkins
