Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

The Senior Software Developer will be a key technical contributor in developing new digital platform features and applications.  They will work closely with technical leadership and product owners as part of the agile scrum development team to design and implement technical solutions critical to Epsilon’s digital roadmap objectives.  This is an active code development and implementation contributor role.

You’ll be part of a talented, passionate development team working in an agile development environment.  The team is driving technology development of digital products for Epsilon, which includes but is not limited to search and social product and technology initiatives.

Role Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience
• Java/Spring/Spring Boot development experience
• Python and Flask development experience
• Multithreading implementation experience
• Experience creating and consuming API REST service endpoints
• Experience in relational database schema design and executing complex SQL queries
• Oracle experience desired, though significant experience utilizing other platforms will be considered (e.g. MySQL)
• Good understanding and utilization of software design patterns
• Excellent communicator to senior engineering leadership as well as within the software development team in driving product/feature design and implementation
• Positive team player and works well within an Agile development environment

Desired Experience but not necessary

• NoSQL understanding and design experience (MongoDB, Oracle NoSQL, and/or other NoSQL variants)
• Cloud development and deployment scheme experience (AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud)

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000
