POSITION:  Maintenance Worker

DEPARTMENT: Operations

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor

FLSA STATUS: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Seat repair and maintenance to include cup holder removal and installation

• Maintenance of all suites to include drywall, hardware, painting, ceiling tile and fixtures

• Various carpentry projects in offices and dressing rooms, as required, to include new construction or repair

• Concrete patching, caulking and coating

• Painting of various surfaces, as required, to include paint removal and surface preparation

• All other duties that may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience          

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.

• Two years prior experience required.

Skills and Abilities  

• Ability to understand and follow simple directions communicated both orally and in writing

• Ability to take direction from multiple supervisory and management staff

• Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment common to the construction trade

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of the construction industry 

COMPENSATION

$23/hour.

Location: Pier 6 Pavilion
