The Phantom Works Division of Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Phantom Works Proprietary Finance Manager (Level K) in Berkeley, Hazelwood or Saint Charles, Missouri (St. Louis Area).

This leader will lead a team of Financial Operations analysts in the execution of a proprietary development program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.

This role is critical in ensuring the financial health of the division and will involve collaboration with various departments and stakeholders to drive financial performance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guide the development of business and people strategies, goals and objectives

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Analysis, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
  • 3+ years of experience leading and driving financial management, strategies and processes
  • Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with multiple internal or external stakeholders (i.e. business partner, customer, Finance, suppliers) in planning and driving projects
  • Experience leading a team with a diverse statement of work
  • Transformational change leader, disruptive thinker; values diversity of thought and models the Boeing Values
