Job Description

Highlights

* Responsible for performing tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, and management of materials, supplies and equipment.

* Receives and prepares incoming materials for input into inventory. Verifies the quantity and condition of materials. Loads/unloads boxes, pallets, etc. onto truck for delivery.

* Prepares records of goods shipped and received, maintains accurate inventory count and resolves discrepancies via appropriate computer program.

* Sorts and places materials on rack or shelves according to predetermined sequence. Assists in performing physical inventory to ensure adequate stocking levels.

* May call vendors or suppliers for quotes and estimated delivery schedules.

* Utilizes appropriate method of identification for labeling materials; i.e. bar codes. Issues purchase orders for material purchases.

* May prepare parcels for mailing or pallets for outbound shipping.

* Maintains a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse and work area, which may include basic janitorial duties.

* Able to accommodate rushed and established Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Basic Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Zero to one year of related experience
* Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
* Must possess appropriate state driver's license

Preferred Skills/Experience

* Ability to understand basic instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
* Basic reading, writing, and organizational skills
* Computer experience in Word and Excel preferred
* Ability to work as part of a team

Shift

Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm EDT
