About the role

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst. In this role, you’ll collaborate with Software Engineers, QA Engineers, and Product Owners to transform business requirements into technical development stories. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our solutions meet strategic goals and enhance system functionality across the board. The incumbent will be instrumental in ensuring that the solutions align with strategic objectives and significantly improve overall system performance.

What you'll do

• Gather requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and document business requirements for new system implementations
• Translate business needs into functional specifications that guide system development and enhancements
• Serve as a liaison between business, development, and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding
• Create detailed user stories to be consumed by development and testing team
• Collaborate and coordinate the development of process flows
• Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved/escalated in a timely manner.
• Effectively convey how various issues affect each other and the outcome of the project and the overall program.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases to validate system changes, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Review escalated support tickets and assist in development resolution
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and release notes for internal and external customers
• Apply analytics for continual optimization of the product and business plan
• Ensure smooth project execution by bridging business and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with managing Jira
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong SQL skills – ability to write and optimize complex queries.
