Business Project Manager, New Business Transitions & Regulatory

Vanguard is hiring! We’re looking for a Business Project Manager to join the New Business Transitions & Regulatory (NBTR) group—a high-impact team driving the firm’s global product expansion. In this role, you’ll lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across the product lifecycle—often multi-year efforts with enterprise-wide impact—applying your functional expertise to drive meaningful results. Responsibilities:

• Manage projects or multiple workstreams within a broader project or program. Develop, implement, and monitor project plans. Contribute expertise to major project deliverables, achievements, and required tasks.

• Provide insight on standard methodologies and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serve as a trusted advisor to ensure projects align with overall company strategy and market conditions.

• Communicate project status and issues regularly to partners, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.

• Build and maintain effective relationships. Proactively foster communication between internal and external project collaborators. Influence key decisions across stakeholder groups.

• Proactively identify, lead, and mitigate risks and related project issues. Communicate solutions on key projects to management and stakeholders to obtain input and consensus as appropriate.

• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred

• 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ in project management

• Financial services experience preferred

• Solid understanding of Vanguard’s product landscape

• Investment acumen across mutual funds, ETFs, and other vehicles

• Proven ability to lead and influence across business and technical teams

• Excellent communication, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
