Job Description
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Sr. Accounts Payable Representative to contribute to our team in LaVergne, TN, just outside Nashville. In this role, you will report to the Accounts Payable Manager, working on more complex publisher accounts and handling a high volume of accounts. Additionally, you will handle a high percentage of the Top 50 accounts, working on the more vocal or difficult accounts. Further, the Sr. Accounts Payable Representative will work on publisher product payables, pay invoices, reconciles publisher statements, resolve discrepancies, and settles accounts at year-end. Finally, you’ll work with other departments within the company as well as with the publisher to resolve discrepancies on the account.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 2 year of experience with data entry and Accounts Payable
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient MS Excel skills to include pivot tables and V lookups
- Communication skills (verbal/written)
Key Responsibilities:
- Processes publisher invoices for payment according to payment due date including working each line of electronic invoices not matched by the system and all lines of hard copy invoices.
- Performs accounting maintenance for invoices and release invoices as necessary and maintenance to prevent duplicate invoices from entering the system.
- Researches and resolves negative receiving issues on a monthly basis.
- Verifies accuracy and reconciles publisher statements by detailed account analysis, including matching open items on publisher statement to ICG payable records, requesting copies of missing invoices, researching various price, discount and quantity discrepancies, researching open credit memos and providing documentation to support credit of any open non-invoice items.
- Works with refused returns and identifying problems in this area.
- Addresses and responds to publisher inquiries concerning AP account.
