Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist

Join our team in Renton at Renewal by Andersen of Washington. We're hiring a Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist who will be responsible for the full cycle of the accounts payable functions of the company. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of invoices and corresponding payments while managing vendor relationships, payment terms, and weekly cash flow projections.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Process vendor bills and corresponding payment timely and accurately
• Route incoming invoices to the appropriate approver over a certain threshold
• Monitor existing accounts to resolve outstanding issues with vendors
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding paid and unpaid invoices
• Review and reconcile accounts payable ledgers to ensure accuracy
• Manage the employee expense report and reimbursement process
• Analyze payable data and prepare cash flow reports for management review
• Communicate openly and effectively with other internal departments to address discrepancies
• Collect W-9 forms, maintain payment terms, and prepare/transmit 1099 forms at year end
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, company policies, and financial controls
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
• Performs other related duties and projects assigned by management

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in accounting or a related field or comparable work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience handling a large volume of full-cycle accounts payable
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks, particularly the payable module
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
