Seeking a strong software engineer or software developer who can think creatively to architect and develop custom tools for use by Qorvo engineering teams.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a development environment where both functionality and stability are important.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop tools to support characterization and development of Qorvo’s mobile wireless semiconductor products
• Work well in a team environment to develop applications that support product characterization testing and evaluation
• Develop software tools for use in a MS Windows environment leveraging .NET and SQL database technologies
• Refinement of existing applications to help improve working efficiency by considering software implementation, user interaction, and overall design of the application
• Create storyboards that clearly communicate development ideas to the stakeholders of utilities
• Provide support and training to internal teams for new software tools or new features

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Application development for MS Windows using C# or VB.NET and User Interface design in WPF
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Web Application development with .NET is a plus
• Database programming development is a plus
• Requires 8+ years of experience and a BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
