We now have a great new opportunity available as a Sr. Payroll Administrator for the US.

Job Details

The US payroll team manages payroll for approximately 1,300 employees in the US. The role is responsible for managing payroll, varying in size and complexity, with adherence to policy, compliance, and legislation. It requires strong communication skills to liaison with payroll providers, internal business partners, revenue authorities, and other third parties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Payroll administration in the US by ensuring internal controls and deadlines met.

  • Calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholding and deductions.

  • Understand our complex business needs and manage expectations.

  • Prepare payroll inputs for timely processing.

  • Review and approve provider prepared payroll against the approved payroll inputs.

  • Ensure a high degree of regulatory compliance while continually monitoring and analysing the ever- changing regional regulatory landscape

  • Ensure governance and audit compliance, identifying risks, ensuring appropriate and relevant controls are in place and attesting to these each month

  • Work in partnership with all third-party providers, in providing optimal operational and service level expectations. Foster a relationship of collaboration and partnerships.

  • Continually monitor operational performance. Quickly identifying process improvement opportunities, while reducing operational risk

  • Ensure that all policies and procedures are always adhered to and all operational standards are met.

  • Process queries by monitoring tickets (ServiceNow) ensuring SLA are met.

Experience and Skills

  • 5 plus years of hands-on payroll experience in ADP EV5 or EV6.

  • Strong Communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet tight deadlines.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Proficient with Outlook and Excel.

  • Demonstrate ability to work independently in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.

  • A good team worker with the ability to work effectively with staff at different levels of an organization.

  • Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality

  • Experience in a Shared Service HR Department would be an added advantage

  • Experience of Workday and service now would be an added advantage

  • Experience of payroll implementation
