Location: This role can be based out of our Las Colinas, TX, Austin, TX, or Ottawa, ON office.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a talented Sr. Manager, Web Desig to lead the team responsible for elevating and illuminating our visual brand identity and broadcasting our industry leading B2B platform technology through an engaging digital web experience.

In this role you will collaborate closely with various marketing teams, product marketers, content creators, editors, and many other functional groups within the organization.

You will leverage your expertise to initiate, lead and collaborate with other designers to translate content into a striking, user-friendly, high performing web experience.

Your creative expertise in web visual communication design, creating design systems, and interactive and motion design will be crucial in creating and maintaining our web experience that inspires and engages our enterprise and medium to small customers and prospects.

Responsibilities:

• Strategize and Organize:

  • Conceptualize digital strategy

  • Present plans, ideas and concepts

  • Create impactful and brand illuminating designs to delight our target audiences

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in web design, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the team

  • Manage our style guide development, website restructuring, and creative strategy

  • Coordinate multiple web design projects simultaneously, from concept development to execution, ensuring that they are completed on schedule and meet the company's standards for quality and functionality

• Facilitate:

  • Conduct design reviews internally and with stakeholders with the ability clearly communicate and justify design direction

  • Use analytics to justify decisions

  • Collaborate across teams

• Collaborate:

  • Align with product marketing and integrated marketing teams to create new, and updated experiences to meet the needs of go to market campaigns

  • Work with Product Marketing to conceptualize telling a story about features

• Team Management:

  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of web designers, ensuring that the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality work

  • Provide visionary leadership to the web design team, setting clear goals and expectations while motivating and empowering team members to achieve excellence in their work

• Standardize Systems:

  • Contribute to the growth by standardizing UI page patterns and designs to enhance efficiency and user experiences

  • Manage, update and oversee compliance with the Web Style Guide

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional experience (preferably in SaaS), with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role

• Experience in creating user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mocks and prototypes, responsive design-establishing breakpoints, use of grids

• Experience in leading a total site redesign

• Experience designing global multilingual (preferred) websites

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Portfolio showcasing multiple projects and direct contributions

• Experience creating and maintaining a design system

• CMS experience, preferably with Adobe Experience Manager

• Proficiency in web design software and tools, including Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop

• Solid understanding of web development principles, user experience design, and SEO best practices

• General knowledge of front-end standards in HTML, CSS, and JS

• A BFA, design degree, or other degree with equivalent experience
