IT System Engineer

<p>Team overview and job responsibilities </p><p> </p><p>We are looking for an IT System Engineer to join our Information Technology team. Based in Durango - México, the candidate will be responsible for designing appropriate IT/Digital solutions to meet business needs. Works closely with development/implementation teams to optimize solutions delivery, ideally in a waterfall mode and in agile when appropriate. Responsible for day-to-day operational support, maintenance, and development activities for one of several applications. SAP SD/MM Specialist </p><p> </p><p>Job responsibilities </p><ul><li><p>Responsible for the level of IT coverage of business processes exploiting the best of the current solutions for all the country (SAP will be extended to all Mexican plants) </p></li><li><p>SAP is the main tool, but the Business Analyst will be responsible to identify other complementary IT solutions and support its implementation and maintenance </p></li><li><p>Responsible for the analysis and the specification of the changes needed (new business or technological requirements) and guarantee the expected results </p></li><li><p>Interacts with his peers at local and regional level to propose solutions and promote best practices adoption </p></li><li><p>Responsible for the software life cycle management (request, specification, development, test, go-live and maintenance) for all solutions under his responsibility </p></li><li><p>May act as Project Manager for small to medium size projects </p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Main interactions </p><ul><li><p>Provide first and second level support for end-users, key-users, process owners and business leaders </p></li><li><p>Work as an advisor and tutor for users stimulating business process improvements </p></li><li><p>Work in local or multi country project teams interacting with other colleagues, consultants and vendors to perform project tasks. </p></li><li><p>Interacts with IT Operations and Infrastructure (at local, regional and corporate level) to guarantee availability of the systems and compliance with company standards. </p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Key performance indicators </p><ul><li><p>Internal customer satisfaction </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Task completion on time/on budget  </p></li><li><p>Service level to users (trouble ticketing tool metrics) </p></li><li><p>On time reply to inquiries from users/IT peers </p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Who are we looking for? </p><p>Processes </p><ul><li><p>Strong knowledge on Business processes on the scope of his work, preferably on </p></li><li><p>Manufacturing Industry segment </p></li><li><p>Business process modelling and system documentation techniques </p></li><li><p>General knowledge about project and resources management </p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Technical </p><ul><li><p>2~ 3 years’ experience working with SAP </p></li><li><p>Good level of experience in SD/MM.
