Supervisor - Vehicle Supply Chain

JOB INPUTS
- Supervise and coordinate activities of the Supply Chain team and provide guidance, support, and direction to ensure efficient operations within the department.
- Act as liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and ensure order expectations are met.
- Develop and maintain efficient processes for post-order activities, including order confirmation, scheduling, and logistics coordination.
- Monitor vendor partner performance; identify concerns and implement corrective actions to ensure streamlined continuity of service.
- Proactively address client concerns and provide solutions to improve their experience and ensure service satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing and registration requirements and regulations.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus
- Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
- Proficient in analytical applications like Power BI and Business objects is preferred, but not required
Relevant Work Experience:
- 3-5 years’ experience in supply chain management, logistics or a related area as an individual contributor
- Prior fleet management, automotive industry, or transportation logistics experience preferred
- Breadth and depth of expertise in a technical or functional area; knowledge of work processes and tools is generally limited to own area of responsibility or department
- Reviewing and improving processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy

- Supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staff
- Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department
- Has some authority for personnel actions
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Plans and prioritizes work efficiently and effectively, delegating when appropriate

Partners with other internal departments in an effort to find short term solutions for our customers and long term operational efficiencies
