Operations Manager, Scooters

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead our team of mechanics and drivers that support our scooter operations for Divvy in Chicago. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional people management skills, technical proficiency, and a passion for efficient operations. This role involves hands-on management, data-driven decision-making, and a focus on fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Lead, coach, and provide constructive feedback to a team of mechanics and drivers. Foster a collaborative and motivated team culture.
• Data & Technological Proficiency: Ability to use tools like Excel and Google Sheets
• Scheduling: Create and manage team schedules
• Inventory/Warehouse Management: Oversee inventory processes, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to be on feet for extended periods.
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to work on Sundays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical Competency: A basic understanding of bike or scooter maintenance and repairs
• Forklift certification.
