Environmental Services Technician

The expertise of our Environmental Services staff is essential to the patient experience. Job duties include using the correct procedures to maintain clean and sanitary surfaces, removing and cleaning messes and spills, restocking supplies, resetting patient rooms. Environmental Services staff must be comfortable in the hospital and clinic setting including cleaning occupied patient rooms. Assignments will include patient rooms, procedure and operating rooms, restrooms, hallways, lobby, and visitor areas. 

Must be able to read, write, communicate and understand English. Ability to follow written and verbal directions. Must be organized, efficient, and able to work independently and/or in a team setting. Shift assignments may be altered to accommodate departmental/customer services. High School Degree or G.E.D preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Must be flexible to respond to changing priorities and handle changing workflow.
