Senior Tax Accountant

- Craft detailed support schedules for income tax compliance and provision calculations.
- Aid in the preparation and review of domestic and combined tax returns for various business entities.
- Develop federal and state extension requests and calculate quarterly estimated payments.
- Analyze state apportionment to project taxable income accurately.
- Support the projection of taxable income in line with ASC 740 for tax extensions and payments, including REIT Testing.
- Reconcile fixed asset accounts from book to tax values.
- Conduct tax account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams for data collection to ensure precise tax provision and income tax preparations.
- Support Tax, Accounting, and Legal teams by gathering information and reviewing proposed IDRs from taxing authorities.
- Manage administrative tasks to ensure the punctual filing of reports.
- Undertake special tax projects as needed.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of accounting or tax experience with a multi-entry company or two (2) years in public accounting.
- Experience with public or private tax compliance with various entity structures such as corporate, partnership, LLC’s and trusts required
- Strong tax accounting experience in conjunction with tax compliance experience
- CPA License preferred.
- Strategic thinking and the capacity to synthesize complex business data to craft innovative solutions.
- Strong computer skills, specifically Excel and Word
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, for drafting Tax Position Memos
In the states of Colorado, California, Washington, and Illinois; the anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $42.09 - $52.63. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

The Company provides 9 paid holidays per year, and, upon hire, new employees will accrue paid time off (PTO) at a rate of 0.0577 hours of PTO per hour worked, up to a maximum of 120 hours per year.
