AThis position requires an active Top-Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance to be considered.

 

As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen.

 

The DTRA ALNO role at the Pentagon and NGB is a vital, full-time position within the Defense Department. It demands experienced military personnel capable of swift decision-making to counter WMD threats globally. Responsibilities include supporting agency leadership, coordinating interagency efforts, and enhancing situational awareness for proactive CWMD actions.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Assistant DTRA Liaison: $135,000 - $150,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.  Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

 

Assistant DTRA Liaison Responsibilities Include: 

·       Assist in developing agency vision, goals, and objectives to counter WMD threats.

·       Facilitate collaboration between DTRA and interagency stakeholders.

·       Maintain real-time awareness of emerging WMD threats and adversaries.

·       Ensure on-site integration of DTRA capabilities in a 24/7 environment.

·       Assess CWMD threats and recommend strategic agency actions.

·       Provide flexible, experienced military staff support for rapid response to global events.

·       Contribute to shaping counter-WMD policies and operational strategies.

·       Deliver critical information to senior leaders for informed decision-making.

·       Support real-time response efforts against WMD and threat networks.

·       Ensure instant access to intelligence and DTRA capabilities for operational effectiveness.

·       Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

 

Assistant DTRA Liaison Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: 

·       Master’s degree with strong writing and oral presentation skills.

·       Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) II / Joint Qualified Officer (JQO).

·       Writing plans, requirements, executive correspondence, or publications.

·       Familiarity with DTRA and adversary WMD (nuclear, chemical, biological) and advanced delivery systems.

·       8+ years of military staff experience in a joint military environment related to:

·       Intelligence, special operations, combat arms, CBRN, joint operations planning, space, cyber, MISO, or acquisition.

·       Superior writing, briefing, and interpersonal skills.

·       Motivated, committed, and proactive.

·       Eager to learn, explore details, and adjust to new policies/processes.

·       Quick-thinking, solution-oriented approach.

·       Works well in lean, agile, cross-disciplinary environments with shifting priorities.

·       Enjoys coaching, teaching, and fostering teamwork.

·       Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
