Senior Copywriter, Social Media - Tech + Digital

We are looking for a Senior Copywriter to join the team! The responsibilities within this specific role requires a background and interest in technology with emphasis on Augmented Reality and Developer content. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent web content writing skills and experience advertising on multiple social networks as well as familiarity in promotional product marketing. Ultimately, you will ensure we maintain a strong online voice and brand consistent with our client’s marketing goals.

Salary: 70-100k

Responsibilities

• Write marketing emails which drive awareness, drive purchase, new user activation and retention to brand product audiences
• Write, and edit engaging posts for various social networks, including Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube
• Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors
• Coordinate with internal teams to create advertising posts (e.g. for events, open roles and product releases)
• Work alongside our insights team to track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates)
• Apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
• Be very client facing and comfortable to lead discussion with client regarding TOV and brand perspective

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Copywriter in a technology driven environment
• Hands-on experience using various social media platforms to advertise
• Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
• Familiarity with online paid advertising
• Ability to deliver creative web content (text, image and video)
• Excellent communication skills
• BSc in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
