Position: Senior Account Executive, Education & Workforce Development 

Location: Remote (Territory: Utah, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team. The Account Executive will be responsible for growing client relationships in Education & Workforce Development within the territory encompassing Utah, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, particularly within these states.

We are based in Austin, TX but open to 100% remote candidates (work from home, WFH, virtual sales position).

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Understand client needs and propose Interplay Learning solutions to address their challenges effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer support, to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and reports to clients.
  • Organize and manage sales pipeline using a CRM

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in EdTech sales, with a focus on selling to clients within the states of Utah, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a high level of initiative and drive.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
