Job Description

SiaXperience is on the cutting edge of online digital experiences. To support our growth and the growth of our clients, we are seeking a Web Developer to join our team. This role will create and deliver websites and web applications for our award-winning clients. The ideal candidate will be familiar with current UI/UX design practices, be able to write clean, concise, performant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and be an effective technical problem-solver. We work with clients across a multitude of industries, so a portfolio of work showcasing your diverse experiences and projects will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive and visually appealing front-end web solutions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Create server-side functionality and database integration using technologies such as PHP, Python, or Node.js, ensuring robust and secure web applications
• Build technical roadmaps to explain strategy, timelines, milestones, and key indicators of project success
• Manage project plans, budgets, and other team members, to effectively allocate resources to deliver projects on time
• Manage and maintain third-party applications, integrations, and APIs
• Optimize website performance and ensure a smooth user experience by regularly monitoring, testing, and resolving issues related to performance and browser compatibility
• Collaborate with data analysts to develop and implement SEO best practices to improve visibility, search engine rankings, and organic traffic
• Implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities including data breaches and malware, as well as a preventive plan to get ahead of emerging cyber threats
• Work closely with design, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and deliver web solutions that align with the client’s objectives
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and compatibility problems that may arise during web development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of professional web development experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects and proficiency in front-end and back-end development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end libraries/frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
• Experience with server-side scripting languages (e.g., PHP, Python Node.js) and knowledge of web frameworks (e.g., Express, Django, Symfony, Laravel).
• Familiarity with popular content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, AEM, Sitecore, Contentful, etc.) and ability to customize and extend them.
• Proficiency in database design, SQL, and experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, REdis, etc.).
