Senior Business Implementation Consultant

What does a successful Senior Business Implementation Consultant do at Fiserv:

The Senior Business Implementation Consultant will provide in-depth analysis, consultation and recommendations to clients during deployment of Fiserv Deposit Liquidity products in order to ensure clients’ business needs are met. The right candidate will work closely with clients, internal partners and internal stakeholders to ensure on time delivery and improve the implementation process.

What you will do:

• Ability to interact with the client from a business requirements perspective.
• Manage overall project/ program risks, making adjustments as necessary and obtaining buy-in from senior management for critical project plans, commitment, and changes.
• Understanding of Retail Banking/Deposit Operations preferable.
• Manage data file integration.
• Own and capture input file mapping requirements for batch files.
• Test Input file for accuracy of data mapping and content.
• Elicit, validate and prioritize client business requirements.
• Assist with testing and validating configurations.
• Work with the project team to help investigate and resolve testing problems given the established business requirements and severity level.
• Document all business requirements and process information for all implementations as needed.
• Liaise closely with Product and Development teams to provide input and receive continual training.
• Liaise closely with Data Center teams for implementation activities related to hosted or ASP environments.
• Work with project team on functional components of the implementation project including product development, configuration and testing.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work under significant project pressure and meet internal and external deadlines.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced high-energy environment with strong personal composure and crisis-management skills.
• Ability to operate and show initiative under minimal supervision.
• Responsive and proactive communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to identify project obstacles and proactively mitigate risks. Escalates and resolves complex issues effectively

What you will need to have:

• Strong background in business analysis and implementation preferably within a financial/banking environment.
• Experience with query language, with a focus on SQL.
• Strong skills with Microsoft suite of business products, especially Excel.
• Experience with large scope projects with many moving parts and interdependencies.
• Experience with large scale change efforts and change management.
• Experience with matrix management of cross-functional processes and teams.
