ADP is hiring a Director/Sr. Director, Sales Compliance and Ethics  

The Director/Sr./Director of Sales Compliance is responsible for designing, leading, and continuously evolving a comprehensive sales compliance framework that enables growth while ensuring adherence to regulatory, legal, ethical, and company standards. This leader partners closely with Sales, Legal, Risk, HR, Associate Relations, GSO, Finance, and Product to embed compliance into the sales lifecycle—driving trust, integrity, and sustainable revenue performance.

The role will also involve developing and managing training programs and project work plans related to various Sales Compliance focus areas, evaluating and advising on substantive issues, scheduling, managing project deadlines and milestones, preparing and presenting on compliance-driven PowerPoint presentations, specific to compliance and ethics and ADP’s Win it Right Initiatives.

This role owns the strategy, design, and execution of Digital sales compliance training and education across the sales organization, ensuring sales professionals are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and judgment to operate compliantly and confidently at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and communicate sales, compliance and ethics policies with Digital sales associates and leaders
  • Conduct fair, neutral, timely investigations and provide guidance related to conflict resolution, disciplinary action and/or termination pertaining to, but not limited to:
    • Code of conduct
    • Ethics and Compliance
    • Fraud/Theft
  • Partner with Legal, Risk, GSO, A/R and HR to manage escalated ethics and compliance issues/investigations;  monitor activities and outcomes to ensure fair and consistent application of policy and treatment of Associates. Protect the balance of interests of both Associates and ADP in accordance with ADP policies, laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the overall project management of Sales Compliance programs through highly effective use of technology, business processes, and leveraging company associates and resources. Taking a proactive approach to protect ADP and it’s associates and mitigate loss.
  • Support for substantive compliance programs and risk areas, including reviewing and analyzing regulatory and legal guidance and provisions and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate and provide guidance on adherence to, and implementation of compliance requirements. (GSO, Legal, Privacy, Corporate Compliance etc)
  • Embed themselves into the day to day actions of the Digital Sales Reps to fully understand the role, reduce non-compliant activities and loss
  • Lead the strategy, design, and execution of Sales Compliance and Ethics training materials on the importance and impact of “Win it Right” to help proactively reduce occurrences to new hires and exiting sales associates and leaders. This includes:
    •  Ensuring training programs are modern, engaging, and aligned to how sales teams sell, using scenarios, case studies, and real-world examples
    • Establishing certification, refresher, and reinforcement models to sustain compliance knowledge and drive behavior change
    • Measuring training effectiveness through assessments, adoption metrics, behavioral indicators, and compliance outcomes
  • Monitor project managed initiatives to ensure processes are being followed and goals achieved, including completing milestones on time and within budget and an effective change management process.
  • Ensure consistent rollout of compliance processes, initiatives, and training while maintaining effective communication with sales leadership.
  • Communicate changes in legal environment based on information from partners and work with stakeholders and technology teams to produce required outcomes.
  • Assist in the internal and external fraud prevention measures with the Global Security Organization.
  • Establish metrics, dashboards, and reporting to monitor compliance effectiveness, training adoption, and risk trends
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership and governance committees on sales compliance performance
  • Leverage data and insights to drive continuous improvement across policies, controls, and training programs
