About the team

The Facilities Lead will be joining the Global Security and Workplace Solutions (GSWS) organization. GSWS are a group of Security and Workplace leaders that deliver a safe, secure, and engaging office experience that empowers Roku employees to perform their best.   


About the role 

This role will be responsible for a wide range of operational services at the New York Office. Notably, the first point of contact for the following: All MEP services, break + fix response for FF&E, all things security access control and CCTV, Event activations, building management coordination, and other ad-hoc support as required. This is a hands-on tactical role where you’ll role up your sleeves to troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate issues as required. To be successful in this role the right candidate will have an understanding of the connected office environment, and is able to liaise with all levels of the business to resolve technical issues.  

For New York Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $89,000 -$98,000 annually.  Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.  This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off


What you’ll be doing 

  • Utilize and monitor service desk to schedule and initiate office repairs and maintenance  
  • Liaise with Property Management’s maintenance providers  
  • Coordinate security access for employees and visitors  
  • Work with Global Security Operations team to ensure camera and access control functionality; manage repairs and service calls  
  • Maintain inventory orders for office supplies for NYC   
  • Shipping and receiving coordination, mail sorting  
  • General upkeep of conference rooms, breakrooms, and storage rooms  
  • Coordination and prompt reporting of HVAC, plumbing, custodial, or electrical issues. Ensure efficient communication with leadership and timely service  
  • Working knowledge of lighting control (Lutron Vive) and building management systems  
  • General understanding of network infrastructure and the ability to troubleshoot UPS, ATS, and other IDF connected hardware.  
  • Manage or assist in all vendor/contractor communications relating to various organizational needs and site visits  
  • Support IT/AV with live broadcast of All Hands, and other team meetings  


We’re excited if you have 

  • 6+ years experience in Facilities/Security with global tech firms 
  • Professional certifications from IFMA, BOMA, CoreNet, or others 
  • Experience with building automation systems (Tridium/Niagra) and access control software (CCURE) 
  • Prior experience with building infrastructure in class A high-rise’s 
  • Leading Emergency Responses Team’s (ERT) or other crisis management experience 
  • Ability to lead small construction or other Facility improvement projects
