The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supplier Quality Regional Manager to support supplier quality based out of Dallas, Texas or Phoenix, Arizona.
In this role, the selected candidate will supervise and develop Supplier Quality Representatives (SQRs), who provide oversight for BCA suppliers primarily in the Southwest region of the United States. They will simultaneously focus on the creation and execution of business plans, policies and procedures with a focus on improving supplier performance. High-level leadership direction and interpersonal skills are paramount for the Supplier Quality Regional Manager and serve to support the development and maintenance of partnerships and relationships with direct reports, customers and stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages employees performing supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers' production and quality systems, special processes, products and services meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations.
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve supplier performance.
- Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
- Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in an accredited course of study
- 5+ years of experience in working and supporting (BCA and/or BDS, BGS) Quality Management System (QMS)
- 5+ years of experience in leading or managing a team
- 5+ years of experience in setting a strategic direction
- 5+ years of experience a quality role and experience in AS9100 Quality system
- 5+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer/supplier relationships
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience working with regulatory agencies
- Proficiency with Boeing problem-solving models or advanced corrective-action tools
- Experienced leading root cause/corrective action engagement plans
- Experienced leading or working as part of a virtual team
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects
- Proficient in MS Office tool suite and project management software tools
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $119,000 – 161,000
