Shipping Associate - Entry Level

 

Pay Rate:

$18.28 (pay for skills program)

 

Category/Shift:

Hourly Full-Time 2nd Shift (2pm - 10pm Monday-Friday)

The Job You Will Perform:

• Proficiently operate PIT, VMU and other equipment related to Shipping and Receiving.  
• Effectively communicate logistic information and possible issues to the next shift.
• Must be able to locate all inventories on the floor, including overrun items to ensure first in, first out inventory rotation for shipments loaded during shift.
• Monitor inventory for any discrepancies and correct as necessary.
• You have visually inspected product being shipped for warp, strap placement, load tag placement, any other quality defects.
• Ensure all trailers are being loaded using the correct loading pattern and product meets company quality requirements.
• Ensure all sections and department is clean and organized and housekeeping efforts meet expectations. 
• Accurately  completing quality and administrative documents and following directions.
• This person will learn every job of the department (pay for skills)
