Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our KY team as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk. In this vital role, you will play an integral part in ensuring our distribution process runs smoothly and efficiently. From handling restocks and returns to packaging parts and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace, you will be instrumental in keeping our operations on track. The Work Schedule...

• Monday - Friday 9am-5:30pm

The Day to Day…

• Coordinates incoming drivers with the appropriate loading dock by maintaining appointment schedules with carriers

• Provide information to logistics team so shipments can be scheduled with our partner’s carriers

•  Manages documents, including pick tickets, bills of lading, packing lists, and signs drivers out after loading

• Manages urgent situations to ensure timely order and shipment execution

• Creates and assembles documentation for shipments (both domestic and International)

•  Enter shipment information into Transportation Management System (TMS) to build outbound LTL/TL shipments.

• Prepare intercompany transfers and communicate with internal stakeholders, as needed.

• Following standardized procedures to maintain accuracy and efficiency in your work.

• Utilizing 6S principles to condense assigned areas and ensure optimal organization.

• Maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards in your workspace.

• Performing additional duties as necessary to meet customer needs and support our operations.

The Qualifications…

• Ability to perform job duties in a safe manner.

• Basic computer, reading and math skills.

• Forklift Experience a plus

The Work Environment…

• Lift up to 50lbs occasionally and up to 35lbs frequently.

• Stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day.

• Frequently engage in activities that involve twisting, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and squatting to maneuver materials.

• Be prepared to work in various environmental conditions that may be hot, cold, or humid.
