We are looking for a Mechatronics engineer for our products for alternative fuels and electric vehicles. You will be a part of a global team that together will design and implement new solutions for electric vehicle chargers and fuel dispensers.

 

Position Summary:                                                                                                                                                                                                

You will design electronic hardware assemblies mainly within the area of electrical vehicle chargers. Also responsible for the design, verification, implementation and creating technical documentation such as technical specifications and other related engineering documentation. This role will be based in Austin, Texas, US.


 
Position Responsibilities:
•    Ownership of design, implementation and testing of electromechanical components and subsystems for EV chargers and fuel dispensers used in global       markets.                                                                                                                                                                                                              · 
•    Be accountable for component and product testing (specification and performance).                                                                                                      · 
•    Being accountable for EV electrical designs (<1000VDC/<1500A) and Electronic-PCBA development.                                                                            · 
•    Participate in the field support and maintenance of the systems.                                                                                                                                      · 
•    Provide full Technical Documentation Package for all developments.

 

Qualification Requirements: 
•    Bachelor or Master of Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering (BSC/MSc level) with 5-10 years’ experience.                                                                     · 
•    Experience in mechanical CAD (Solidworks).                                                                                                                                                             · 
•    Experience in electronic CAD (Altium, Orcad).     
•    Experience troubleshooting complex problems.    
•    Experience within safety and metrological standards such as ATEX, UL, IECEx, MID, OIML, Inmetro and NOM.                                                               · 
•    Experience working with PDM systems.                                                                                                                                                                     · 
•    Knowledge of technical project management.                                                                                                                                                           · 
•    Knowledge of software development (Labview, C) is a plus.
