OVERVIEW:

Sportradar is the global leader in leveraging the power of sports data to enhance media solutions, power sportsbook operations, and to protect sports integrity. Sportradar is currently seeking a high-performing Accounting Manager to support its growing US business.

Reporting to the US Controller, this individual will be responsible for supporting the US accounting activities of the organization. The candidate will possess knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS principles as well as a solid background in Sarbanes-Oxley, and commercial financial operations.  The candidate will also possess strong collaboration and team leadership competencies gained through prior experience working within a global accounting team.

The role is based in Minneapolis, with some US and international travel required.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including preparation and review of assigned journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Proactive P&L analysis and cost control including timely reporting of monthly flash report and key financial metrics
  • Provide technical expertise regarding accounting transactions
  • Collaborate with the Group Accounting team in preparation of the monthly financial statements
  • Lead projects to automate processes, develop key controls, and enhance reporting
  • Oversee contract management and revenue recognition
  • Perform ongoing financial control functions in accordance with the Sportradar internal control policies
  • Serve as accounting liaison to external independent auditors
  • Drive US ERP implementation and reporting efficiencies
  • Assist with various ad-hoc corporate finance projects and analysis as needed

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
  • CPA certification
  • 6-8 years of increasing accounting experience; preferably working with Microsoft Dynamics

Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000
Sportradar intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and location. Base pay is just one component of the Total Rewards that Sportradar provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
