Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Embedded Security Engineer for Intelligent Solutions Group located in Urbandale, IA, you will:

 

• Develop, integrate, and verification of embedded security controls on our off-road equipment.
• Work with our global engineering teams to identify security risk and implement controls.

 

This position has potential to be fully remote (based in the US), but preference will be given to candidates working out of the Des Moines area.

What Skills You Need

 

• 3+ years of experience in the implementation of controls like secure boot, secure firmware updates, and secure communications
• Experience with common protocols and technologies found in automotive/ag (including CAN, Ethernet, UDS, J1939, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.)
• Experience with reverse engineering or pen-testing modern vehicle ECUs, video games, or other embedded products or devices
• 3+ years of experience in Linux development
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with embedded debugging tools
• 3+ years of programming experience in high-level languages like Go, Rust, Python, or Java
• Deep understanding of certificate-based authentication
• Strong ability to explain complex security concepts and vulnerabilities

What Makes You Stand Out

 

• Experience with iMX8 products and implementing security features
• Deep understanding of cryptographic principles and algorithms
• Experience in an industry with complex connected IoT products

 

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, or related field
