Job Description
S&S Activewear is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Cyber Security to join our growing Information Technology department. You will be leading a cyber security program which safeguards the technology that gives S&S Activewear a competitive advantage.
As the Director of Cyber Security, you will be core member of IT leadership team responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders, executive leadership and vendors to maintain and enhance our cybersecurity program. Your leadership should enable the business, not just to secure it.
This position will report to the VP of Information Technology and is a hybrid or fully remote role.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining and enhancing a comprehensive cybersecurity program to safeguard the company’s digital assets, systems, networks and sensitive information.
- Proactively assesses potential risks and opportunities for vulnerabilities throughout IT environment while working with IT leadership to implement defenses and remedies.
- Review and analyze cyber security policies and recommend changes to improve effectiveness and governance while supporting and advancing business objectives.
- Advise executive leadership team on technology risks with grounding in data and business impact.
- Keep up to date on current and emerging trends in cyber security and compliance.
- Leads staff to proactively identify, prevent and respond to security incidents.
- Accountable for security awareness and training, external vulnerability assessments, coordination of audit activities, and subsequent remediation plans.
- Leads Third Party Risk Management program while partnering with business to mitigate and manage associated risks.
- Implement Data Loss Prevention program to protect sensitive and proprietary information.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in cybersecurity leadership roles with 5 years of people management experience.
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of successful cyber security programs.
- Ability to foster collaborative, open, working relationships with technology groups, senior leadership and other stakeholders, including vendor relations
