Overview

The Complete Vehicle “Customer” Audit Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the audit processes of finished vehicles from a customer perspective to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer expectations. This role involves coordinating audit activities, identifying quality concerns, driving corrective actions with internal stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

Audit Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and lead the complete vehicle audit processes, ensuring all audits align with customer standards and company quality objectives.
  • Develop and maintain audit schedules to evaluate vehicles systematically.
  • Ensure audits simulate customer experiences to identify potential issues before delivery.

Quality Control:

  • Monitor and analyze audit results to identify patterns, trends, and potential quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, engineering, and design) to address and resolve non-conformances.
  • Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively to mitigate quality concerns.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of quality auditors, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, true ownership, continuous improvement, and customer focus within the team.

Customer Focus:

  • Ensure all audits align with customer specifications and feedback.
  • Communicate quality concerns and improvement actions to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with customer expectations.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of audit findings, corrective actions, and resolutions.
  • Prepare and present audit reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for quality improvements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Lead initiatives to enhance audit processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Benchmark industry best practices and implement innovations to improve product quality and efficiency.

Compliance:

  • Ensure all audit processes comply with applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina. 
  • The responsibilities of this role require days attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. 
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
  • Primarily based in manufacturing or audit facility.
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods during audits.
