Strong leadership and advanced risk mitigation expertise required
Lead and mentor a dynamic, agile team who execute and deliver high value, high priority enterprise risk models to support strategic objectives. Use your proven statistical, risk management and risk modelling experience to help the team deliver innovative, efficient and timely solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Direct operational plans and oversee the team’s model risk management practices
• Develop and execute the organizations model development aligned to organizational strategy including supporting senior management in prioritization, transparency and decision making
• Builds strong relationships with industry experts and external consultants to understand industry best practices
• Determine team priorities, communicate deadlines and resolve issues
• Review ongoing appropriateness of adjudication, credit, and credit risk pricing models
• Determine team priorities, communicate deadlines and resolve issues within a safe and supportive work environment

What you’ll need:

• A graduate or masters degree in mathematics, statistics or economics and at least 10years of progressive experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• A passion for developing solutions to add value, manage risk and support decision-making
• In-depth understanding of industry best practices
• Formal leadership experience in a similar or related field
