Senior Procurement Lead External Manufacturing

We have an excellent opportunity for an External Manufacturing Procurement Lead to make a difference at Kraft Heinz!
The role of External Manufacturing Procurement Lead lies within the Europe team, you will have 1 to 2 direct reports and you will be reporting to the Head of External Manufacturing & Procurement Operations in Europe.

You’ll be working in a high performing team, with a business size of approximately 60 to 90 millions USD and alongside peers who are always trying to reach the next level. Sounds interesting?

In brief, you are responsible for:

• Support BU growth through leveraging external capacities and capabilities.

• Drive Value through Externally supported innovation.

• Define & execute cost saving plans for externally produced portfolio.

• Ensure sustainability of products with high quality standards.

• Manage the external manufacturing team for one of the 2 core growth platforms of Kraft Heinz including: Establish and deliver critical supply performance, negotiate critical contracts, identify quality / technical / business / EHS risks and related mitigation and corrective actions, establish a network strategy as part of growth strategy and influence critical stakeholders across supply chain.

Qualifications
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.

• Bachelors/Master’s Degree (Supply, Quality, Engineering, Procurement), additional competences in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related fields are a plus.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in increasingly responsible roles in the procurement or related activities. Experience in FMCG is a plus.

• People leadership experience highly valued.

• Engagement with senior internal stakeholder in a multicultural environment is a plus.

• Experience in the management of outsourced activities either leading external manufacturing or working for a contract manufacturer valued.

• Experience in managing sourcing of packaging materials or ingredients a significant plus.
