The Maintenance Technician provides repair and maintenance of equipment, facilities and building structures at Women’s Care healthcare clinics under the direction of the Facilities Director.
- Travels to various healthcare clinics and provides facility repairs and work order completion records.
- Manages work order system.
- Records Life Safety equipment maintenance.
- Performs all repairs in compliance with the state and local healthcare governing agencies.
- Manages and oversees outside contractors.
- Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
- Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years’ experience in healthcare or biomedical facilities maintenance.
- Experience in one or more building trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.
- Basic knowledge of Life Safety equipment (general function and operation).
- General computer knowledge and experience.
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance work order systems.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize and follow specified procedures.
- Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
