Dropship Coordinator - 1st shift

Description

The Dropship Coordinator role is responsible for the coordination of efforts among Operation Managers, Production Supervisors, and Team Leads to ensure the on-time completion of all drop ship orders. The primary duties involve coordinating order processing, ensuring timely delivery of products, and resolving any issues related to customer orders. The individual in this role will work closely with various teams such as production, customer service, and IT to address issues promptly and optimize operational efficiency. They will also track key performance indicators (KPIs), participate in problem-solving activities, and enforce safety protocols in the workplace. The Dropship Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless drop-shipping operations for the plant and maintaining customer satisfaction.

• Shift Times: 6:00AM - 2:30PM Monday - Friday
• Pay Schedule: Weekly

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Demonstrates the Core Values of Comfort Research in daily actions, execution of tasks and interactions with others.
• Generate daily production waves/batches using WMS (ASCTrac) to create production Work Orders for daily operations.
• Prepare shipping documents promptly for the production team to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with customer orders, escalating to IT, Customer Service, or relevant departments as needed.
• Ensure optimal workload for production operations considering capacity factors, truck availability, and inventory levels (raw materials, covers, corrugated).
• Collaborate closely with the Customer Service team to address customer order issues promptly (reshipments, cancellations, general inquiries).
• Assist the production team in correcting errors promptly and follow up with relevant personnel to prevent future errors.
• Provide daily production numbers to Operations Managers, Production Supervisors, and/or Team Leads based on carrier and technology.
• Monitor and track daily KPIs for on-time shipments according to lead times and trade partner agreements. Investigate delays and update the system promptly to reroute orders if necessary.
• Actively participate in problem-solving, functional meetings, and continuous improvement activities with management and peers.
• Attend and provide necessary training sessions.
• Supervise the office environment to ensure proper check-in procedures for drivers, visitors, and vendors, offering accurate information and directions as needed.
• Maintains overall responsibility for all Dropship processing across multiple technologies. Serves as a focal point for the plant to ensure all system requirements are updated, orders are marked for action, and follows up on all late/no-movement orders.
• Enforce adherence to safety policies and promptly report any safety concerns to the leadership team.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment. 
• Support the Operations team in shared goals and initiatives.
