Position Summary

The Human Resources Data Processing Specialist provides administrative and data-processing support to the Human Resources department, with responsibility for accurate employee onboarding, HRIS data maintenance, reporting, and audit support. This role requires strong Paycom proficiency, attention to detail, and a working understanding of HR processes and compliance documentation while coordinating effectively with multiple internal teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Process new employee onboarding in Paycom, including data entry, employment documentation, and I-9 completion and verification.
Maintain accurate and current employee records in HR systems.
Prepare, update, and maintain standard HR and labor reports.
Compile and organize documentation in support of internal and external audits.
Coordinate with HR, Payroll, Operations, and other departments to resolve data and documentation issues.
Update and standardize job descriptions using company-approved templates.
Review data for accuracy and escalate discrepancies as appropriate.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR administration, HR data processing, or a related role.
Paycom experience required.
Bilingual in English and Spanish required (verbal and written).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Demonstrated understanding of HR processes, compliance documentation, and HRIS data management.
Experience supporting audits or compliance reporting.
Experience working in multi-location or multi-state organizations.

Physical and Mental Requirements

Ability to work in an office environment using a computer and standard office equipment; communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via email; sit for extended periods with occasional standing and walking; analyze data, maintain attention to detail, manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
