Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Program Manager Sr Director to be based in NY Metro. The incumbent will work on preparations and delivering the projects related to Transportation and Aviation in the NY Metro Region..
Some of the responsibilities of this position include:
• Possesses proven knowledge and experience in utilizing commercial strategies.
• Participates in negotiations when requested and appropriate.
• Will serve in a project review capacity as required to assist project teams to achieve project objectives.
• Ensures that employee performance issues are documented and addressed.
• Willing to assume mentoring and training role.
• Works with group/Project Services management to correctly identify staffing needs.
• Structures and leads independent actions to reach a common goal program wide.
• Creates, analyzes and critiques global strategic plans.
• Establishes and maintains scheduling standards and procedures at the group/Project Services level.
• Develops and maintains group specifications and procedures.
• May participate in tracking overhead cost for the group.
• Works with Functional Leader to implement cornerstone systems.
• Able to serve as a key participant in client and/or subcontractor negotiations.
• Prepares and maintains accurate schedules, compliant estimates, and budgets for all projects in the group/Project Services.
• May represent an overall group.
• Investigates programmatic causes of variances between estimated, committed and actual amounts and recommends solutions or recovery plans.
• Validates that Project Controls PEPs are being implemented throughout the group/Project Services.
• Coordinates group/Project Services funds management and reporting.
• Monitors, analyzes and develops strategies for profit maximization.
• Implements group standards for change control.
• Assists the group/Project Services Management in budgeting and managing incentive programs.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS + EXTENSIVE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 6 years of leadership
Must have Aviation Transportation Experience with NYM Agency Clients
Preferred Qualifications
Multi Billion Dollar Project Delivery
20 Years Experience
Aviation Clients in NY
Terminal 4 experience
