Lead Warehouse Clerk- Quality Control Lead

Position Summary: 

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.  Provides support and some supervision to Quality Control Clerks. Works closely with Operations Supervisors to ensure employee productivity expectations are met. Provides a variety of responsibilities to meet the supervisor’s expectations.

 This position will be located at the Penske facility in Lebanon, TN.

Work Schedule:
Monday thru Friday:  Flexable between both shifts (6:30am-2:30pm. and 9:00am-5:30pm)

Must be available to work Saturdays as needed.

Major Responsibilities:  

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills

• Conduct visual inspection of cabling and electrical extension cords 

• Inspect plugs and connectors to ensure they match

• Check for internal breaks or shortages

• Address any product issues with supervisor 

• Maintain documentation of quality inspection

• Move product with use of an electric pallet jack 

• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

 

 

 

Qualifications:

• 2 years of electrical experience required 

• 2 years of general office administration required

• 1 year of customer service experience preferred

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Proficiency in using a computer including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required

• Ability to use hand tools, work independently, developing people skills, organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills required

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
