The Credit Card Sales Associate (Credit Card Champion) engages customers in needs‑based conversations to promote the Meijer Credit Card while delivering a positive customer experience, accurately communicating benefits, and meeting application goals in compliance with all confidentiality and company standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or credit/financial products

• Experience working with: Sales goals or quotas. Customer engagement or promotions

• Familiarity with Meijer front‑end operations (Service Desk, SCO, lanes, Electronics)

• Comfortable coaching or supporting other team members on credit card awareness

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

• 18 years of age or older.
• Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
• Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
• Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
• Desire to work with customers.
• Previous retail or customer experience preferred but not required.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Friendly outgoing attitude.
• Ability to operate cashier register system.
