Do you want to join a team of accounting professionals ? Then your are the one we are looking for! Worldline is looking for an G/L accountant intern in Brussels.

 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

 

As a G/L accountant intern, you will be responsible for:

 

• General Ledger Accounting:
  • Assistance in monthly closing, centralisation of VAT, shareholders equity reconciliation,…)
  • Closing files preparation & assistance external auditors
  • Assistance to Worldline Group internal audits
  • Assistance to Annual accounts for 7 legal entities in Dutch, French and/or English in 5 countries
  • Assembling info yearly works council information 4 Belgian entities

 

• Taxes:
  • Calculation non-deductible VAT
  • VAT returns
  • Intercommunity listings
  • VAT refund 8 EC directive
  • Corporate income taxes: accrual calculation (monthly) , tax return (yearly)
  • Deferred tax calculation
  • Bridging IFRS/Local GAAP

 

 

What We Are Looking For

 

 

• Bachelor student in Accounting or finance
• Dynamic, eager to learn
• Strong communication, listening and analytical skills

• Team player

• Strong ability to deal with complexity
• Fluent in English and in French and/or Dutch
