Duties

• Lead, manage, mentor, and develop the technology teams across the Enterprise Technology Partners (ETP) group, including business solutions, enterprise architecture, and infrastructure teams.
• Oversee and manage application development and maintenance or infrastructure efforts.
• Work with business partners to ensure the design and implementation of a fit-for-purpose solution.
• Communicate with upper-management and internal clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
• Ensure the delivery of required technology components on time and on budget.
• Manage  rolling  three-year  technology  roadmaps  and  vision/strategy  for  each  system  and  dataset, ensuring adherence to a defined enterprise architecture and set of standards.
• Deliver on business cases in partnership with the Project Management Office (PMO).
• Manage the technology teams through all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Oversee the delivery of central technology development initiatives.
• Apply knowledge of business processes to create new applications and develop enhancements to existing applications at a rapid pace.
• Control operational budget and expenditures.
• Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures with respect to technical solutions, technology investments, IT security and risk management, and ensuring enterprise solutions deliver high value and are in alignment with business needs.
• Consult with relevant stakeholders to assess IT solutions needs and system requirements, proactively advise on technology options and innovations for business, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• This is a hybrid remote position; telecommuting benefit is available from within commuting distance of corporate offices in Dallas, TX or Miramar, FL.
• Requires up to 25% domestic travel to various locations that cannot be anticipated. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in information systems, computer science, or related field; plus 5 years of experience in job offered or as a technical manager/director.
• Requires knowledge of Java, J2EE, Tomcat, Solr Search Engine, BigQuery, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, REST Services, Apigee, SQL, Apache Spark, Cassandra, MS SQL Server, Nginx, Dynatrace, Splunk, Visio, Docker, GitHub, Vault, IntelliJ, Eclipse IDE, Swagger, JSON, XML, JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, Cucumber, SAP Hybris, API/Web Services, SOAP, CI/CD, OLAP, Agile/Scrum, and Cloud services.
