Position: Lubrication Analyst
Reports to: Reliability Engineer
Shift: 7am-330pm Monday-Friday, 1 week on rotation for call-outs
Pay: $22+

Summary:
The Lubrication Analyst performs all lubrication activities to prevent failures and optimize lubrication costs. This position requires being on call and working days or nights.
What you’ll be contributing:
- Services and lubricates plant equipment as per lube route/protocol, including bearings, gearboxes, compressors, hydraulic pumps and lines and pnuematic pumps
- Conducts Area Safety Inspections and Job Observations routinely.
- Addresses any environmental and safety issues/concerns proactively.
- Keeps and maintains lubrication chart for plant equipment.
- Works with suppliers and service contractors for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment
- Inspects equipment during lubrication.
- Inspects lubrication systems using check sheets; record and trend critical parameters like temperature, flow, level, etc.
- Maintains and continuously improves lube storage and handling room
- Maintains and constantly improves used oil, drums, and media storage areas to comply fully with environmental regulations.
- Works with the environmental department.
- Maintains good working conditions for all tools and equipment used in the lubrication department
- Disposes of used oil, filters, and media properly.
- Prevents and cleans oil spills and leaks.
- Orders lubricant as required to maintain optimal stock weekly.
- Performs Preventive Maintenance (PM) and repairs lube systems or equipment.
- Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred
- High school graduation or equivalent is required
- Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
- Willingness to learn, training will be provided
