Role

As the Plant SQA Group Lead Prop. will be part of the Suuplier Quality team within Quality Function and you will report to Plant SQA Head.The purpose of your role is to Ensure defect free supplies of incoming parts through implementation of stringent QA policies, system and procedures at Suppliers and at HMCL plants for internal and external customer delight.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Ensure timely addressal of internal & external customer issues (Warranty, CID, BOSF, BOP, FI Defects, KD)
- Analysis & Countermeasure implementation
- Execution of Improvement Projects
Strengthen supplier manufacturing capabilities to ensure defect free supplies at HMCL
- Drive For Timely Execution Of Plan & Periodic Performance Review Suppliers
- Execution Of Improvement Activities At Suppliers
- Plan QAV Visits At Supplier End To Ensure Process Adherence & Verification Of Actions Done Against Non Conformities found at HMCL
Ensure 100% adherence of SQA processes such as (inspection system, problem solving system, NC closure & supplier upgradation) through DQM strengthening in engine section.
Formulate and monitor KAI/KPI based on organization's ABP

A Day in the life

On a day-to-day basis you will coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders such as Project/Production Engineering,Marketing, GB, SAS, Market Quality for Ensuring timely addressal of internal & external customer issues ,IMS Implementation and Policy management and deployment.

Academic Qualification & Experience

• Graduation in Engineering
• Minimum 7-8 years of experience in manufacturing, and 5-7 years in an automotive firm
 

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Product, process & systems knowledge (especially mechanical, electrical & electronic proprietary parts)
• Quality Planning
