OR - Surgical Technician: Part-time

Part-time position. Two 10-hour days per week, 6:30am-5:00pm, no weekends or holidays. This position will assist in the treatment and care of patients in the Operating Room under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse. Provides assistance to the Operating Room staff by scrubbing in for surgical procedures, in accordance with the established policies and procedures. This responsibility includes the preparation, assembly and organization of the environment, equipment and supplies necessary to perform the surgical procedure scheduled.

Requirements

One year minimum operating room experience required, an emphasis in orthopedics highly desired. BLS certification required.
