Job Description
The Human Resources Generalist will play a pivotal role on the HR team. You will provide administrative support for the HR Department and employees across the organization, included but limited to the following:
Essential Functions
- Assist the preparation of the posting and prescreening of potential applicants for open job opportunities within the company.
- Build and promote employer branding across social media and review pages (e.g. Glassdoor, Indeed).
- Develop strong relationships and partnerships both internally with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR and externally with vendors and recruiting sources.
- Assist with the maintenance of job descriptions
- Assist with compensation analysis
- Conduct reference checks on candidates.
- Track and report on key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.
- Assist with onboarding of new hires, new hire orientation and setup in HRIS application as necessary.
- Answer employee questions regarding payroll, benefits and employee relations matters, including the corrective action process
- Interpret and communicate company policies to ensure understanding and compliance among employees and managers
- Assist with investigations into employee complaints or concerns, ensuring a fair and thorough process
- Assist with Safety and compliance issues.
- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure company policies align with legal requirements
- Train to provide back-up for payroll function.
- Assist with the maintenance, deployment and reporting on annual performance appraisals.
- Other administrative tasks (scanning, copying, filing) is required by all members of the team.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a similar role; or a role with related administrative experience; and/or previous knowledge of Sundance benefits and policies.
- A degree in business, human resources, Organizational Development or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Previous experience using and administering talent acquisition software with training management on process required, SmartRecruiters preferred but not required.
- Previous experience onboarding using an applicant tracking software, ClickBoarding a plus.
- Previous experience using an HRIS database, ADP or Paylocity preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Including Word and Excel).
