Position Overview: The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth financial operations, timely reporting, and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
  
  
• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions
  
  
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  
  
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for management review
  
  
• Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws
  
  
• Manage expense reports, purchase orders, and vendor payments
  
  
• Assist with budget preparation and cash flow forecasting
  
  
• Support external auditors during audits by providing requested documentation
  
  
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
  
  
• Ensure compliance with tax filing requirements and assist with tax preparation as needed
  
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
  
  
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or in a similar financial role
  
  
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel
  
  
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices
  
  
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
  
  
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
  
  
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  
  
• Strong communication skills to interact with vendors, clients, and internal team members
